As per always, you guys have some sweet rimfires. I like this rimfire section. Love looking at all the eye candy. That trainer rifle is a cool one. You don't see many of those around anymore. I have seen a couple at gunshows and have always admired them. A buddy and I were at a shop near the coast a couple weeks ago and saw a cool full stocked Mossberg trainer. It has dual apertures (front and back). I should have bought that one too, dang it... Figured I had too many target 22's as of right now. That's not possible though..

My mkII pistola is just like that one. I love it. So damn accurate and it never fails to fire. Ruger hit the nail on the head with that one..



So since I did not list a pistol before, this is my favorite. Even though I have a competition target model with a longer barrel and nicer grips, it doesn't feel as nice in the hand as this one does. Quick handling and accurate is what I like.

I've got a Remington 572 that I put a Burris 1.75x5 on that I really like. Have a Marlin model 60 that became a cabinet queen after I got the Remington. For a pistol a Browning Buckmark works just fine.

Hands down and walking away, my Savage 6A. I have the open and aperture sights, but right now she wears a Weaver 29S in an original T1 mount. She does bug hole on a regular basis. Spooky accurate and off the chart cool factor!
Handgun. My 1960 production Ruger Mark 1. I've never shot any handgun better than I do this one.

Tough choice. In rifles probably my Ruger 77/22 and handguns my 10" mark 2

Here’s both of mine. A Dakota Arms 22 and a Freedom Arms 97. Close runner ups though are a Kimber 82 Superamerica and a S&W K-22 Combat Masterpiece.

I'm with you, Sbrown. 52 Sporter, S&W Pre-17 (and maybe a 75 Sporter or Browning SA 22 short.)

Sorry just saw this. It's a Caldwell Magnum Field Pod. The only rifle rest I use anymore. I like it even better than a bench.

I have several Ruger MK’s and they all shoot well. This one is the only one with a red dot. It had volquartsen target grips on it that gave excellent control… but it shoots just as well (and looks and handles better) with the original slabs so I put those back on.

I embarrassed to say how many 22s I own, I've been having the crazy idea to start selling some off and using the money to buy me a sure enough nice bolt 22, wood preferred. What should I be looking at that is a step or 2 above guns like a 452, remington 541t, etc that I currently have. My winchester 320 isnt going anywhere. I'll probably thin out some of my 10/22s, single shot winchesters and remingtons.

If you want to go the vintage route - can’t go wrong with a 75 sporter. A 52 sporter would be even better but depends on how much you want to spend.

That opens a real can of worms IMO....

Those 75 Sporters are great carrying rifles and accurate as heck in my experience. I won't trade mine for anything. If you are thinking about trading up to some higher end .22s I would be looking at the Steyr Zephyr II, Anschutz 1712 or 1710, Lithgow 101A, Kimber 82, Vudoo, or- if you want to get serious and have deep pockets look at a 52 Sporter or a Remington 40X Sporter...

Toss up between my model 63 Winchester and my Klack Kimber 82 . Won't ever get rid of either .

Rifle a CZ 452 American.

Something for carry, I actually ran across a local 52, I think it was a B, someone had put it in a custom sporter stock that was beautiful, but it was so front heavy and kind of awkward with that barrel and that slim sporter stock. It would have been bench only. I think it went for 1300.

Had a zepherII in my hands awhile back, almost did it.

I'd love to have an 82 like posted above. i know where a laminate one is, i'm not a real fan of laminate. From what I understand, my winchester 320 was the precursor to the kimbers.
