I always thought that the oysters were kidneys.

Do chickens even have kidneys?

Years ago I had a friend who was the meat department manager in a large grocery store.
He referred to that “oyster” as the “chicken tenderloin”. I think of him (now deceased) every time I dig one of them out of any bird.

Best chicken tenders ever are the beer batter fried Chicken Crispers at Chili’s. They’ve got the best Honey Mustard sauce too. 🤠

Wings are crazy pricey now........buck a pop the last fresh pack I bought

You can buy/cook/eat breast tenders for the same price

I've learned too that chicken breaded tenders you do yourself...egg dip & bread crumbs/seasoned

Ya all need an air fryer for that task........Simple to make & fryer is a snap to clean up

Thighs, soaked overnight in a coke, ketchup, onion, brown sugar and Worcestershire concoction and then grilled.

Thighs are my favorite. I knew a farmer in mid state MI that preferred the meat off chicken feet. He said its the best tasting part.
