Best rail for Ruger American Rimfire?
Can be flat, I don't need any incline added in.
Factory base good nuff?

10gaugemag: I have three heavy barrel Ruger American rimfires and they all came with "rail" bases. I just went to the Ruger site and I guess some of the sporter weight Americans came with and without the rails. Wish I could be of more help. I sure enjoy my heavy barrel Ruger Americans (in 17 HMR and 22 L.R.). Good luck in your quest. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

My predators come with a rail but it’s on the short side so ring spacing is limited. DIP makes a nice rail for the Americans and it’s got more real estate for spacing
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

I don't see it listed in HMR right now. Handy SOB for sure, rarely leaves the truck. It does have the factory rail but wanting to space the rings out more.

10gaugemag: I understand now - good luck in your search. I have been so happy with my Ruger American Varmints - nowadays I think they are amongst the best per dollar avlue out there in their category. Ooops... dinner bell. More later. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
