Years ago, I bought a Badger ordinance rifled slug barrel for my Benelli Nova so I could hunt deer in a firearm restricted area. I had a shotgun smith modify the receiver of the shotgun so that the cantilever-Picatinney rail area could be secured to the receiver to increase stability. The result being that it's a complete pain in the butt to dismount the scope if I want to use this shot gun for other purposes. Looking for advice for a good quality yet affordable set of quick detach rings for a 1" tube scope. A used set if anyone had a set unwanted would also be an option.
This shotgun is no precision instrument but capable of relatively all around usage. Any ideas are welcome.
