I was cleaning up the mancave a came across this old Martin Firecat Bow I've had for about 20 years.
Got it used and never got into bowhunting so it's been just collecting dust. It's gotta go, can anyone help me out with what its value might be?
Thanks in advance for an assistance.

How about a little more info.
length of bow, weight range, if adjustable.
any limb issues, scratches, cracks, dents.

PM sent.

OP - If the Martin build tag is still on the lower limb below the riser, that will have the info.

I hunted with a Martin Firecat for a long time. I doubt I could pull that 87 pound monster these days. It was a fantastic bow.

Not much and those cables/string should definitely get changed before pulling on it

We would sell them for bowfishing at the shop I ran. They would fetch $50 to $75. I agree, the strings should be replaced. Those older bows took standard B-55 16 to 20 strand strings. If you have a local bow shop they can help. A string for that would run $20.

Great finger's bow! I had a friend that used one in the late 80's. He sprat painted it olive green and hunted with it. he also did field archery with it doing spot shoots and always won or placed high in those tournaments.

It's not worth much ($100.00) but if a person was to shoot fingers with this bow it would be fine and will kill lots of deer, hogs and even elk.

My friend even killed a moose in Alaska

I read the first number in the poundage as 35 - probably tops out at 45 or 50 pounds - would be a great bowfishing bow for a budding snakehead hunter.

If I'm not mistaken it's 35-80 lbs.
