after an almost 13 month wait, got my tax stamp and supressor.
My first.
Q Full Nelson.
Shot it today on my 6.5cm.
I'm not going to say its movie quiet.
But it took the boom away. Just a crack and echo.
Id compare it to a 22mag IMO.

Oh man that must be cool.
I'm jealous.
Seeing any change in accuracy, shift in POI, etc?
But I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, The last of Barrett's Privateers

Congrats. I got mine back in September and initially screwed it onto my AR “just to try it out”. I literally haven’t removed it since and have fired 4 shots through other rifles in that time, three to check zero and one to kill a deer.
It’s so nice not having the buzzing and ringing after shooting at a coyote or shooting up a mob of pigs. And getting to hear the bullets land is awesome.

Those of us who've been hooked are just pussies. I read it right here on the fire.

I have one, a 30 cal, use it for suppressed loads to kill trapped pigs I trap. The other deer hunters whine when I shoot cshit out of a bunch of pigs during deer season

I need to get the process started. I have heard that the new e-file process is supposed to take the time down to 90 days. I am going to get a rimfire one to start with. Which one did you get?

Most likely won't be a 90 day wait, but it should be much faster than the 11 months it is currently taking for paper filing. I will be happy with 6 months.
I bought a bunch prior to 41F going into effect. Just bought my first one since.
And yes, I guess I am one of those pussies because I won't shoot any of my guns unsuppressed. We just got a mini-lathe set up in the shop behind our office, so I am going to start threading my Encore and Contender pistol barrels. That is the purpose of the new can (Nomad Ti). Should be fun shooting those.

It’s so nice not having the buzzing and ringing after shooting at a coyote or shooting up a mob of pigs. And getting to hear the bullets land is awesome. Kid, I would recommend that you should remove it after each shooting session. The gases produced from discharge are highly corrosive and over time you will find that it will ‘weld’ itself to the end of your barrel. The corrosion will also extend to the muzzle end of your bore. Kind regards, Tim
