I have a chance to purchase a 700 vssf in 308. Rifle looks to be in very good condition with low round count. Stock late 90’s rifle. Any thoughts on a fair price? Thanks Mark

Most that I've seen, and that's been on places like GB, are going in the $1000 range. As with all other guns, the rarity of the chambering in that particular gun will make a lot of difference.

I was just thinking that is an unusual chambering in the VSSF rifles. I've seen them in a lot of other chambers but never a 308...

I'd give $50 for it, no questions asked....:)
I've seen one in 308 a friend had.. but he is long gone.. and I can't tell ya if it was a special order, limited run or a rebarrel
I've got one in a 223...
