Just bought a Sig 716i, 308, putting a thermal and need to use for hogs. Plan on loading Hornady 150gr Interbonds. Rifle has 16", 1:10 twist. I have most IMR and Hodgon powders and some 2460, but am out of Imr 4064, my old go to in 308. Any good starting point on this short barrel, AR.

In the annual manual, Hodgdon has a service rifle section for the 308 load data. Quicker powders will be your friend for a shorter barrel. I'd also consider magnum primers to help burn the charge quickly. Imr4895 in modest loads has worked well for me

Varget is perfect for semi-autos.
