I have a 1899 A that has a Rocky Mountain rear sight that looks like it's missing something, there is a hole on the right side and the aperture is huge. Is there an insert that is held in by a screw that's missing? I'm missing the elevator also. I tried to post a pic but it says the file is too big. Thanks for any input!

Yup, should be an adjustable leaf with the sight notch that's held by the missing screw. Kinda useless now...

I have some repro elevators but that's the least of the problem with that one.

Looks like a Winchester common on 1894 and 1892 models.
