Yup, the .308 Winchester is the .300 Savage Magnum, .30-06 is the .300 Savage Ultra Mag. Or is the .308 the .300 Savage Short Magnum? So confusing.

These are really nicely made rifles. Sort of wish I still had my dad’s .270 that I got rid of in a fit of eliminating reminders.
