Since this a Keith bullet thread, I do believe NOE also offers the long defunct, almost lost idea of the hollow BASE Keith designs. Anyone with a Smith 25-5 or 25-2 from the '70s-80s or any gun with overly large throats might dive them a look.
As Creeker has shown, in the hands of experience and good equipment, piles can be made with minimum effort.
