In your opinion, what's the finest looking wheelgun? Doesn't have to be one that you own, Just one that every time you see an image of it you think, "My God they got that right!"
Just about any Bisley-style single action.
I never should have sold this one. Super accurate with both ACP and Colt cylinders.
I too think the 3 1/2" barreled Model 27 (in this case a 27-2 from '67) look all business and great.
WOW GREAT! Did you ever fire that beauty? If yes, did you try 357 Magnum full house ammo?
My first LE revolver was a 4" 27-3. Shooting the 3 1/2" 27-2 is not very different...they both are VERY controllable with any full-house ammo I use. With target wadcutters they hardly move.
The 3.5" and 5" S&W 27s are great looking revolvers.
I had a 624 trimmed to 5" and like it a lot. Have been thinking about having a 6.5" 624 trimmed to 3.5", but haven't gotten around to sending it to Ahlman's. Gotta do that before I get too old to enjoy it. My 17 year old brain wants my 67 year old body to do stuff that it just can't do anymore.
I’m partial to my Smith’s…a “5” and a “10”. Also think the Schofields were badass looking, but haven’t ever owned one. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but pleasing to my eyes.
Here's my history of beautiful revolvers, they're not pristine, or safe queens, they show honest wear and all are still shootable. 1860 Army, 44 cal. 1862 SAA, 38/44 1890 Diamondback, 38 Spec. 1981
