A mere $75 a pound, plus shipping and hazmat, I'd imagine. That's about 60-65 cents per round of .308win loaded, just for the powder.....
Now with even more aplomb

This looks very suspicious, the container in the picture is not even close to what Hodgdon has been using for years.

This looks very suspicious, the container in the picture is not even close to what Hodgdon has been using for years. Most of the online shops have outdated pictures for a lot of powder and primers. A lot of them still show the Accurate powders still in the old pre-H buyout labeling. Most of them still show the old blue boxes for Winchester primers, too, and they've been red for quite a while now. PV had some Varget 1 pounders a bit ago, but it was sold out in like 10 minutes.

Made me curious about what they are pricing 1lb containers of Varget for so I went back to check. All the 1lb'ers show backordered with no price.

Man, it's hard to stomach at 50 bucks a lb. I am sure someone needs it bad though.

Yep, like I told my buddy that paid $65.00 for it at the coast, he should wait it out. I told him if you are seeing it there, its only a matter of time before it hits the shelves elsewhere. I can live with $40/pound. Over here, it's $50.00/pound for H4350. My buddy bought 6 pounds of the stuff last month. Paid damn near $400.00!!! Thanks for the heads up though. The bad thing is it's priced at $49.99 at Hodgdon, so the middle man like Bi-mart will eventually raise their prices. They were trying to monopolize the powder industry, buy buying out other smaller companies. If they do like Nosler has and raise their prices too high, I'll use other manufactures powders. If possible.
