I recently acquired a LH Ruger mkII SS in .30-06 with a Bells and Carlson stock. At the bolt handle slot, it is missing a chunck of stock and you can see the receiver internals. I don’t want to repair it. I want to build a nice walnut stock for it. If any one has a used wood stock in any shape that I can use to butcher and bondo to make a pattern stock. Pm me. Regards.

I would check on eBay as there are normally quite a few rifle stocks listed for sale.
