Have a very nice Honda ES6500 Generator I’m looking to sell. New battery, cleaned carb and fresh fuel lines. Starts and runs great. Electric start and liquid cooled. These are one of the best generators Honda has made. Surprisingly quiet and plenty of power. Only selling because we are relocating and the moving company will not move it since it has had gas in it. Located in Greeley Colorado. Willing to meet within reasonable distance for serious buyer. These were close to $4000 when new. Last few I’ve seen sold for 1750-2000. I’m asking bottom end of that at $1750 OBO. I can send video of it running to those interested.

All PM's responded to.. Answer to most questions I've been asked in PM's.

How old is it: I just spoke to Honda - it had an invoice date of July 22, 1999. She said they do not have manufacture dates but they have invoice dates which would be when Honda US sold it to the dealer that would have eventually sold to consumer. This would line up with original owner saying he bought it early 2000's.

How was it used: It was purchased as a backup for when power went out by original owner. We have owned it for the last 11 years for the same purpose. We’ve never had to use it and only started periodically to run a minute or two.

How many hours: Does not have an hour meter but in the 11 years we’ve owned it I would say just over an hour or so to keep it running well.

How was it stored: When we bought it, it was in the original owners barn and he stated it was always stored inside it. We have stored it inside our garage for the 11 years we've owned it.

Just spoke to moving company and they will move, just have to drain all the gas and run out of lines. This unit is headed to Oklahoma with me unless someone can’t live without it. Thanks for all the interest.
