I don't believe they offered one unless one of the Limited runs through Lipsey's which would be a Stainless Walnut and the newer version which they made 3-4 calibers one being .257 Roberts which I also have and maybe 250 Savage?
But I do have a NIB Unfired 7x57, Red Pad, Tang Safety available but it will be much higher than the 250 Savage listed on GB.

I wouldn't doubt the possibility of 7mm08 in a 77 model but the RSI (Mannlicer) had limited calibers.
I know they offered a "production" RSI in 243, 7x57, and 308 in a short action and 270 and 30/06 in a long action.

Not doubting you especially when you say "you had one" but some models had small runs to see product/public acceptance before they went into a full production run.
Just makes the price tag go higher ........

I know they offered a "production" RSI in 243, 7x57, and 308 in a short action and 270 and 30/06 in a long action. There were 2 different non-cataloged runs of tang safety blued and walnut short action Ruger 77 RSIs in 7mm-08. There was 1 non-cataloged run of tang safety blued and walnut long action Ruger 77 RSIs in 7x57. Cataloged tang safety blued and walnut 77 RSIs were 22-250, 243, 250, and 308 in the short action and 270 and 30-06 in the long action. I had one of the 7mm-08 77 RSIs, #772-302xx, and still have one of the 7x57 RSIs, #770-828xx. I have been told, but have not confirmed, that the 2 runs in 7mm-08 had different ROTs.

I've never heard of that configuration, heck, I didn't know that Ruger ever made a tang safety 77 in 223 in any configuration, I thought that all of the 223s were Mark2s.

I’ve not seen a factory one. I built one for my wife out of an early 243. She shot everything from Florida hogs to Alaska moose with it. Might be your best option to rebarrel one. Free bump..
