Put this on your calendar, a friend is selling 170 of his rifles. They are mostly 700 Remingtons but also many other models. The auction will be 12/31/22. The list of rifles and notification isn’t on the WEB site yet. The following is the link to the auction site. His rifles are almost all close to new condition and many are new in the box. Some of his very old rifles - rolling blocks and such will be as described. https://www.girardbid.com/One more thing he likes 700’s that are 1990 or older manufacture and many of these were manufactured in this time frame.

For those who missed it the first time. The guy had two similar auctions. First was his S&W collection. Then his Winchester collection. This time it’s mostly his favorites - Remingtons - 170 of them.

He’s decided to sell other guns also at this auction. Some are fairly old. I’m not sure what the total be. He didn’t want other sellers so he added rifles until the auctioneer said “no more”. I’m thinking that at least 170 will be Remingtons. He had a fondness for older 700 BDL’s and I’d bet most are 700 BDL’s
