Just got finished attending a small gathering for one of my best friend's son. His name is Noah. He's been a new recruit, for a bit, of the USMC. He has already completed the crucible and heading to base in 10-12 days to one of the Carolinas. He is wanting sniper school. Lift up Noah for future!

Prayers from a Marine dad for Noah. GOOD FOR HIM!
After boot camp, typically the new Marine comes home for 10 days, then reports back to Camp Lejeune's Camp Geiger for Infantry Training regardless of their MOS. If they get a non infantry MOS they go to 13 weeks of training, half infantry training, half in their specialty. If they get an Infantry MOS, then it's a full 13 weeks of infantry training. From Camp Geiger, they will go straight to their duty station and start their career in their new unit. There's no time off after Camp Geiger for the Marine to come home.
