I recently found some CCI Pistol Match in my .22lr ammo stash that I'd bought for testing in my Ruger MK IV. I noticed that the advertised velocity was 1070fps, the same as CCI Standard Velocity.

Is Pistol Match its own thing or is it repackaged SV that has met higher quality control standards? It shot beautifully BTW.

I was wondering about this recently. Is there anyone with knowledge of this (as opposed to idle speculation.)
