I bought a lot of what I think are mostly headspace tools for .50 BMG and .30 BMG (headspace and timing tools), bore wear gauges, misc headspace gauges, gas cylinder gauges. I would like to sell the lot. Any interest here or suggestions on where to sell? Trying to avoid Ebay and not looking to make a killing but don't want to give away either.

I also have 4 receiver sights: Lyman 57E and 48C, Stevens 106 for Model 416, and an unknown/unmarked military receiver sight with a sort of slide on the mount portion where a round tube slides through attached to the sight itself.

I can post pics or send texts if someone is interested.

Thanks for any help and PMs welcome.

The 57E is for a model 75 Winchester . Sarco shows them out of stock but their price is $75 when they have them. The 48C is for the Springfield 1922 M1 and M2 .22 target rifles. Value is about the same , maybe a hair more . Post pictures of the last one you mentioned.

Prior to 2012 the M2 had adjustable headspace and timing that had to be set by the gunner. The M2A1 solved that potential safety issue and the headspace and timing tools became a novelty. I would post pictures and set a "low reserve" for them. I've never seen a WTB ad for those tools.

Thanks to both of you. I did know what the Lyman 57E and 48C fit and I know values vary. I'll get a pic or two up of the sights and the various tools later today. I'll likely just post an add for them all here and see how it goes.

Your pictures are as bad as mine , can't tell a thing from them . Too dark , too distant and show no detail . I would need to see the " Military Sight" in detail but I am pretty sure it is not military. Does it look like either one of these Lyman sights ?

Bottom right looks like a Winchester sight that was on the Winchester 75 which was used by the military as a training rifle.

Eddie and five_o, yes the pics aren't very good as it was a rainy day and I was just trying to get something to show in general what I had. I am no photographer but can definitely do better and just a single pic of that one.

Eddie, the sight doesn't really resemble the Lyman's you have shown. It does not have the flat plate where it would go over the receiver like the ones you have pictured. Additionally it and the 57E appear to have a mil-spec type finish and it in particular has no markings at all that I can see.

Follow up, thanks to five_o and a bit more research the other sight definitely appears to be an 84A Winchester receiver sight and missing the thumb screw on the elevation slide/lock.

I'll see about posting soon and getting some better individual pictures.

Thanks to both of you for the assistance.

David
