Nice condition. Can supply lots of pics. This is either a Remington or Winchester receiver, can't remember which, and don't want to pull the scope mount to see. Rifle stock had no butt plate so I put the pad on to keep it from getting chipped up. Scope is clear and bright K4 Weaver. Includes dies and 100 brass. $675 shipped

Any day in the woods, is a good day and I love peeing outside.
Remington stamped recievers don't have the "duck pond" on the rear reciever ring. So if it still has a duck pond it isn't a Remington reciever, of course that doesn't mean it wasn't filled in when it was sporterized. I was just pointing out an easy way to tell between a Remington and other actions to the OP.
Does it click on bolt closing? No click, cocks on opening, opens and closes smoothly. Does it have original trigger or after market? Trigger is serrated, I believe it's aftermarket Does it feed ammo correctly? Yes, smoothly Have you shot it? To be honest no,heart trouble and cancer set in before I got the chance, remaining kidney is failing, so I don't really feel like it, but I can load some rounds and try it if I need to. 26" barrel. Weighs in at 11lbs It does have the duck pond, had to look that one up. I wasn't sure because I have one of each, Rem, Win, and Eddystone It was supposed to be a 300H&H Ackley Improved, I gathered up dies and brass, but when it came in it was marked 300H&H and sized Ackley brass would not chamber. So I gathered up regular brass and does. I suppose it could be a less improved version than an Ackley but I don't know for sure.

Does this mean the chamber might have been reamed to something other than standard 300HH?
Bought it as an AI and something else got delivered?
You said above you thought a 300HH AI was coming but the rifle that got delivered wasn't 300HH AI. I can't tell if you're asking what I meant (since you posed it as a ?) or if you're saying you're not sure what happened with the delivery.
After firing some ammo, it appears this is an Ackley Improved, but it's the 30 degree shoulder and not the 40 degree. After some research it appears 300 Weatherby brass can be loaded and fireformed in this chamber, so it's still for sale, and in the meantime I will be searching for dies. Here''s a link to an interesting article about it.
