Well, I am new to handloading and thought I would start with my T/C Contender in .35 Remington with a 12" barrel. I saved the brass from my last outing with the T/C and have a box of Barnes 180 gr X bullets I would like to use. I havent ordered the powder or primers and thought I would look to the experts for some advise. Thanks in advance, G

I no longer have my T/C Contender 35 Rem. but I remember that it shot 200gr. Hawk FT with 38gr. of W748 VERY well. I was always amazed at how well that thing shot out to 100yds...scoped, of course. As well or better than some rifles.

The Hawk bullet has a thinner jacket so it will open better at handgun velocites.

I think I still have a box of them if you ever want to give them a try.
