Volquartsen Summit

Anyone have one? I have watched the videos on them but like getting personal experiences and not just people selling views.

I have an itch for a new .22 and am liking the straight pull design on the bolt. Already have a T-bolt in a lightweight version and while I like the design and function I like having other platforms.

Thoughts?

I have one and it's my favorite rimfire! The straight-pull is quick and quiet so it's great to use with a suppressor. The carbon-fiber barrel is accurate and a joy to carry as well. I originally topped mine with an Athlon BTR 2.5-15x but recently switched to a Tract 3-9x BDC and think that's a great combo for a 22lr!

I've got an original PWS Summit that I've had for a number of years. I like it, but if you really want a toggle bolt...nothing compares to an Anschutz 1727.

That being said, there's a huge difference in the cost of the Anschutz versus the Volquartsen.

My PWS shoots well, but it's not the smoothest action out there.

FWIW, it's an awesome suppressor host!
