anyone ever load 117 gr round nose for a 25-06 from what I am told out to 200yds its a tack driver after that its good night Irene any truth to this I've never tried loading them
I just got a bunch of heads for my uncle he recently purchased a 25-35 I was gone akeep a few to see how they do would appreciate any info

Years ago that was the bullet of choice for one of the writers.. He had a Springfield rebarreled to this caliber and that bullet shot best. I have had a .25-06 since it was a wildcat, but in all those years and numerous different rifles, I have never loaded that bullet. Often rn flat base bullets are very accurate.

there is just something about the round nose for me its the look for me I usually shoot Nosler ballistics but looking at the 25 cal round nose got my gears going
