I have a 722 222 for sale. It was a friend's. He passed away and I helped out his kids by buying his guns. I have not fired this rifle. I know he took good care of his rifles. I have it pictured with a K8 AO the scope has two horizontal lines, I believe 6 MOA apart. The rifle as it came from my friend had the stock cut short 1". The stock shown in these photos is the standard length stock for a 722 (I had a stock that came off my 722 222.) The shortened stock is available for an extra $30.
The rifle with the scope is $850. W/O the scope and rings it's $700. Shipping is an extra $30 from a non-FFL to your FFL.

Below is pictures of the shortened stock - note there's some epoxy fill near the fore-end

Thanks. My 222 shoots very well also. Just don’t need two. I have more rifles to sell after this one.

With that short stock, I’d think it would be a great rifle for a younger shooter. When they grow up they could put on the full length stock on it.

Nice handy rifle.
Surprised it's not gone like a freight train yet.

If you just want the shorter stock, I could let it go for $25 less.

Can't believe this hasn't sold yet. If I didn't already have 3- 223s I would be all over this. Just about the perfect PD rifle.... and a gorgeous piece of wood on it also..

Thanks. I have not shot this rifle, yet. The bore looks excellent though. This is an early model with the knob on the barrel. I have plenty of rifles in this category, otherwise I wouldn't sell it. The factory length stock is for the later model and the knob area may have to be opened up. The shortened stock has the knob cut-out. I think this would be perfect for kids. Start with the short stock and later use the long stock after the kids grow up.

Is there a “B” engraved or stamped behind “722” on the receiver? If so, that’s a “722-B” meaning upgraded wood.
