I purchased a fine Tikka Boar Hunter 30-06 here on the fire from a fine Gentleman Spence1875. I put a Nightforce SHV compact on it. Now for load development. To be continued. [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

You'll find load development for a Tikka to consist of putting primer, and powder in a cartridge case, inserting your choice of bullet, and putting it all in the gun and pulling the trigger.

You can made it simple than that. Go buy a box of quality OEM ammo, load, test fire 3 rounds, adjust scope, go kill stuff...

Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession.

I have loaded 59 grains of IMR 4350 with a 150 partition for almost 50 years, used this in a dozen rifles. It has shot well in all of them, loaded ballistic and Accubonds too. They are all great.
