Went out and shot a few roosters and sharptail over the weekend - 9 roosters on Sat. (3 guys hunting) and 6 rooster/8 sharptail on Sun.(2 guys hunting). Perfect weather both days, the only problem was there were so many birds that we didn't get to hunt very long.

Great photos ranger1. I hear those Browning Gold's are nice.
Some guys found one of my not so secret bird stashes here in SW montana. There were empty 12 gauge shells everywhere. Was bound to happen eventually.
Wish I lived up your way.

Nice photos of a great hunt. I was raised on a large cattle ranch south of Butte and that was about an average day for the Butte hunters. Is that a Brittney or a Springer?

Nice pics and good looking springer. I need to treat my GWP to some pheasants next fall. How is the bird hunting around Conrad?

Extreme jealousy. I would love to get out west to hunt birds. In Connecticut we have stocked pheasant and Almost no grouse. I have an 11yr old springer who is an excellent hunter and I am hoping to make it to SD next year to giver her one last big hunt before old age catches up with her.

Red Rabbit - Never hunted around Conrad, but it is outside of the area I would consider the primary pheasant hunting region in the state.
