My wife and I have a joke between us. Whenever we feel too right wing or rednecky we say we need to tune into NPR and get a big dose of left wing pretentiousness. We never do, however.

And some folks believe NPR is an unbiased “news” station. smh

What do you expect from a bunch of commies? NPR should have been defunded long ago. I certainly don't want to pay for that schit. Have you ever watched one of their tv broadcasts?

I have contributed in the past, not for the past 6-8 years or so, as I like the music they play, without commercials. I listened to their news reports with an attitude of "best to know what the other side is thinking"

They now will know they will never get another penny from me.

Old gf from about 15 years ago was a doctor and liked NPR. Would listen to the music with her, which was pretty good back then. No interest in supporting commies these days..

I used to listen to a SoCal station in the late evenings for their jazz and blues shows. And a college station in NorCal for their alternative stuff. I won some tickets to some good shows that way. Like BB King at a small club venue, where I had the pleasure of introducing a head banger friend to BB. As we were leaving he told me " I never knew anyone could play a guitar like that".

Now I about puke when it's the only station the car will get on the long stretch between cities.

You can contribute to the individual programs directly, without going through NPR. Click and Clack used to be good.

Like many here, I used to listen regularly, and there was a time when, at least in BFE, Idaho, you could get some non-leftist content. Last few times I’ve tried, I end up yelling at my windshield; they are not even capable of pretending anymore.

As I recall, Trump tried to defund PBS. He got close but there was enough opposition that it never happened. Maybe it will happen on the next go round.

Used to listen to the brothers from Boston that were mechanics with my dad (Click and Clack?). After he passed I found out what liberal scumbags they were.

NPR is the PSYOPS division of the Propaganda Corps. They are as much an enemy of the people as an invading army and should be treated as such.
