I'd likely go Cooper if going factory, dependent on the twist. This one is a Benchmark #2 twisted 8 and 23" long. Mcmillan stock. Built on old 700. If Tikka made a lefty Creedmoor you could easily punch it 6.5-284 I'd think or 6.5-06 as well. Speculating as I have not done that but seems like it would work.

Tikka makes a left hand 24 inch barreled t3 lite in 6.5 creedmoor that would be an easy conversion.
I have to ask, why 6.5x284? If it’s just for something different I completely get it. If not then I would suggest the 6.5 PRC. It’s much easier to get rifles, ammo, and brass for and very closely duplicates the 6.5x284.

I’ve got one of the savage 6.5x284 from a few years ago when they made the predator hunter model.
Camo stock. Fluted barrel. Over sized bolt knob.
Shoots well.

'Twer it me, I would consider buying a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor and sent it off for a conversion to 6.5X284 or 6.5 PRC. That and possibly a magazine swap would put one in a good place I think. I'm contemplating doing just that and getting out of the 260 Rem business all together as I have a Tikka T3 Lite and a heavy Savage in 260 Rem. Might sell the one and get the other modified. I'm leaning hard towards the PRC for ammo/brass availability.
