I had to ride with the windows down all the way back from Ky

hair and chit blowing around, getting in my mouth.

I can only hope it was a late 80’s dodge caravan. Fake wood siding intact.

4’ of dog puke carpet roll hanging out the open back doors while random Burger King wrappers get sucked out onto the two lane.

God Bless.

Rip out and replace with ceramic tile that you can scrub the "crap" (literally!) out of!

Nothing to rip out

It’s an area rug.

Maybe just let the sun and atmosphere do its thing for a week.

Pull it down of the hanger and do the baking soda vacuum repeat carpet fresh thing??

Anyone have experience with enzyme eater?

I didn't read through all the replies, so if anyone else said it, well sorry. All those chemicals that say they're for pet odors don't work for schitt. If you want one and done use color safe clorox bleach diluted with water. It'll be gone immediately.

If it’s a woven wool rug lay it out on the concrete and take a water hose to it. Put some laundry detergent on and scrub it in with a broom on both sides. Then rinse the soap out real good when your done. It will take several rinsing on both sides to get all the soap out but it should clean up pretty well.

No problem. I had a dog years ago that was so stubborn that cleaning the carpet was done more frequently than vacuuming so it eventually became an experiment with what works. I'd buy high dollar carpet shampoos and pet stain removers only to clean the carpet with it until the thing was pulling up nothing but clear water and then completely dried so I'd kneel down on the carpet to take a whiff only to still smell the faint smell of dog piss. It would completely disappear with the bleach though when I tried it as a last ditch effort.
