Just got up from the supper table (yeah we still call it supper around here.) Wife smoked a moose meatloaf on the Traeger and it was accompanied by okra, cucumbers&onions, green beans, and corn on the cob, all fresh out of the garden. Don’t get much better than that, in my opinion.

Should have been worded as Grandpa Jones would have delivered it.

In any case, I'd be in for a second helping!

Gee thanks. I'm staring at some junk in the freezer wondering which thing will pass as food, and you bring this up. Now I'm starving.

A co worker and I saw grandpa Jones getting into his car at a convenience store in Goodletsville, TN one morning. Co worker hollers, “Hey Grandpa! What’s for dinner?” Grandpa flips him a finger and responds “Go to hell you son of a bitch!”. I guess he’d heard that one before. LOL!!!

Grandpa Jones is from my part of KY and uncle to a friend of mine (his mom's brother). Friend said he used to stay several days in the summer with uncle "Grandpa Jones" at his place in TN. Said it wasn't nothing to see several major headliner country music icons hanging around in the kitchen some mornings drinking coffee, joking, telling tales, and talking 'shop'.
