I found a Hogue stock and forend that I really like but they only make it for the 12ga and not for the 20ga.
Has anyone successfully shimmed, maybe with a piece of PVC or similar, a 12ga forend to fit a 20ga? It looks like it would work except that the nut that slides over the magazine tube to hold the forend on the slide would "get lost" in the larger diameter recess.
My other choice would be to locate another stock/forend set in black that fits mine, except I can't find one that is conventional style without the pistol grip, etc.
As as alternative, does anyone know who makes a conventional style black stock and forend for the 20ga 500, maybe in a 12 or 13 LOP (without painting mine ... grin)?
