Sugar beets and turnips are great until the adjoining land owners cows break the fence to eat them

It looks like I’m leaning towards clover and chicory. The ground is pretty clayish so it is what it is.

It looks like I’m leaning towards clover and chicory. The ground is pretty clayish so it is what it is. I am in the joplin Area and I had a nice stand of Durana in the spring. Not so much anymore. Dead as a door nail. Cant tell anything was ever there.

It looks like I’m leaning towards clover and chicory. The ground is pretty clayish so it is what it is. If planting this soon, I'd be sure to through some grain (wheat, oats, cereal rye, triticale) in as well as a nurse crop.
