For what it’s worth I would send 160user anything in my collection free of charge for him to inspect. I’m “fairly” new here as well, but it does not take long to figure out who the good guys and bad guys are. Would be interested in one of your scopes but not enough to jump through hoops to find out how interested I am. Yep. I would also do so for the majority of the members on this thread. Thank you Gentlemen and I feel the same way. Trust is earned and there are MANY quality buyers on here. It isn't hard, just list your asking price.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

Meh, it's his stuff...no reason he can't sell it as he sees fits. That being said, as a buyer, I absolutely refuse to jump through hoops to get pictures or prices. Any ad with no pics or prices, I move on.
I have to admit, though, as a seller, why would you want to deal with all the hassle of responding to multiple (likely dozens) people just to send them all individually pics and prices....when it can be accomplished so much easier by posting both in the ad? That way, you almost immediately weed out the people who truly aren't interested. Why would you want to waste time messaging people back and forth, just to find out that your price is out of their budget...or the pics weren't what they were expecting (or whatever reason)? Let the site do all the work....instead of working harder to get buyers, let the buyers come to you.

The rule of posting a price is not arbitrary. It stated in plain English in the rules.

Sorry. As I requested (with courtesy) anyone wishing details should PM me with their email address so I can send prices and pictures. A dozen have so far, so most members appear to be able to comprehend the request. Those who asked and received and wish to buy are requested to post an "I will take it." I hope this helps you understand. If you have no interest, may I ask that you not clutter up the thread with extraneous comments ? Thank You. I *was* interested until seeing that you wouldn't post any prices and decided to play the "PM me and I'll tell you" game. The clincher was your message that's quoted above and your overall "better than you" attitude, especially coming from a newbie that nobody knows. Just one more person to add to my "block" list.

I had a member here send me some 375 brass last week. He told me to pay him what I felt was a fair price once I received it! His mailing address was scuffed up during transit… I’ve pm’d him for his address but have not gotten a response. I thhhhink I can read it…. But not sure. So there are clearly some true and honest people here at the fire.
I was humbled to say the least.

I don't understand what the problem is. There is no winning or loosing. There is no inconvenience. There is no need for an apology. It's pretty simple. If you would like to sell an item in the classified's just post the asking price for that item. You have done this in your previous classified adds that you posted. No need for all the confusion. Those who call magazines "clips" and cartridges "bullets" ought not to be taken seriously. Jeff Cooper. We might add those who call bullets "boolits.
