Mr. Jed 1899: That is a fantastic smile on the young man, which nicely complements a fine buck. Well done to the young man on the shooting and a hearty well done to you for taking him out hunting. Its very nice to see these sorts of photos. All the best in your upcoming hunts. Dwayne

I told the Lad he needs to come in here and give the story. I can give the Dad's version. I had this monkey on my back ya see.The Lad needed to kill his first buck. The Lad's Granny own's a Xmas tree farm...So I takes the Lad to the farm.I says get up in that barn, open that window, and call me when ya shoot your first buck.On the way out,I left instructions to shoot the buck through the front shoulder. It's about 5 miles from the farm to my house.I arrived home, undressed and got in the shower, soaped up,phone rings...it's the Lad...he done it.Killed his first buck.I went back to the farm, congratulated the Lad,loaded the buck in the truck and offed him for guttin. The shot took out both lungs and severed the aorta. Good show Lad! Dad's proud of ya.

ok the story of my first deer.
Me and dad and my little cousin Nick were riding around in the Toyota tundra as we were going by the barn dad had the best idea. I was gonna go sit in the attic of the barn and wait for a deer till dark then come out. well i went up there was thinking for about 15 minutes after dad had left and then i look out and two deer were standing in the field. I looked and i saw the horns on the first one right away...i tried pulling my rifle out as i was still thinkin i bumped it against the window i pulled it back in and tried it again got the crosshairs right below his shoulder and squeezed the trigger...there was my deer.
