According to NYT, Trump had more than 300 classified documents in his unlocked basement.. including material from the CIA, the National Security Agency and the FBI.

I am not sure if they mean 300 pages... or 300 documents with several pages each.


150 classified documents where returned in January, but NARA knew more was missing.. and that Trump refused to hand over, and even had his lawyer sign he didn't have any more.

Which turns out... he did. 300 more...




And to think Trump actually signed into law:

"Whoever, being an officer, employee, contractor, or consultant of the United States, and, by virtue of his office, employment, position, or contract, becomes possessed of documents or materials containing classified information of the United States, knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both."

With Trump’s signing S. 139 into law, that became: “ … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both.”
And with that, it became a felony.

How did NYT's find this out? It is supposed to be classified stuff not open to the public, unless a judge says it can be. NYT's have been caught in a lot of lies the last few years.

Then it turned out to be fake news and that the FBI lied on an affidavit to get a warrant to spy on Trump and then the FBI testified under oath that Trump never colluded with Russia and admitted it was all fake news.
