Just got an email from Brownells stating that they have primers in stock. $95. - $170. per brick of 1000

FWIW I started reloading in 1983ish at the age of 14. Winchester Small Rifle Primers were $1.10 per hundred. I found an old package recently. No other consumer product I am aware of has increased 9 to 17 times in price over that same time period.


If you can't be a good example, may you at least serve as a dreadful warning

I was buying CCI and W-W for 26.95/1000 and S&B was as low as $99.95/5000 in 2018.

Me too. I bought many K at $30/1000 a few years back. Unfortunately I shot them. Seems to keep happening.
