The old lady named our 6 year old yellow lab "Bailey". She answers to that and also to "You dumb-ass, Moron and Hairy-ass Bitch. Not a smart dog by any means but she sure is pretty.... As Marilyn tells me every time she screws up. I've never in my life met an animal with fewer brain cells. She is amazing. Don't name the critter "Bailey"

Lab's are normally smart & a very keen nose

If you can say the dog's name with a growl, it's a good name.

This pup at the county shelter was a Rottweiler and Bloodhound mix.
Pissed me off he needed a vet asap and their bullschitt regs.
And I was willing to pick up cost of it all and pay their adoption fee.

Baylor and Brady are great dogs.
But they are loyal to the wife and daughter which is cool.
If I accomplished anything with the wife and 3 daughters.
It is they all have dogs now.
Baylor and Brady spend their day with me.
But as soon as their masters come home.
They turn doggy Benedict Arnold on me.

But they obey me when they are upstairs with the ladies also with a couple of silent hand signals they wont do for them.

Great to hear your going to get another Pup!
Buddy had a half Labrador Retriever & half Great Pyrenees. Big SOB with the intelligence and loyalty of both breeds. Hell of a guard dog too. I’d like to find another like that one.
