Acquired 99 recently. Would like to know what model and mfg date. ser # 3214xx , no boss lever marking.. Shell counter brass. 20" barrel. steel butt plate. non schnabel. appears to have original sling. 30-30. good condition. Can text picture to interested party. Thank you in advance. Dave

Sounds like a 99H. No cheek pads? The sling was added.

Serial number puts it in 1929 probably. Agree with Rick that it's probably a 99H since it has no schnabel and a 20" barrel. Wouldn't have come from the factory with studs and a sling, but they've likely been on there for 80 years or so. Probably looks pretty similar to this?

calhoun. yes identicle..thank you. . any thoughts on value as i am willing to part with it. that said its a great piece of history. parkinsons is getting the best of me so its time to send things off to new home.
