Seems like the Browning Mountain Ti rifles rarely come up for sale anymore. Aside from the horrible finish on the stocks (I know that Browning will replace them), I've always been fond of these rifles and consider myself fortunate to have acquired a few over the years. Are the Browning Ti rifles that scarce now or have I just not been seeing them?

Sadly the good stuff like the Browning Ti and Remington Ti rifles are gone and it seems the decent stuff has been replaced by cheap made robot made rifles which are actually overpriced for what they are. Not even the Kimber Montana is found these days. Sad to see the junk that's pushed out now.

Browing MR TIs were never common anywhere that I've been and they seem to be as common as hen's teeth in 25 WSSM. For a long time I looked and looked and looked some more for one of them in 25 WSSM, but when one never surfaced with the price and condition in sync, I finally moved on to different interests.

I agree that they were never common, but neither were the Remington TIs and those seem to come up for sale quite a bit more often (relatively speaking). I've never come across a Browning TI in any of the WSSM chamberings, so I'm sure they are especially rare birds.

I'd be willing to bet that those who have them ain't letting them go.

Sadly, one of those short lived, good things. Kinda like the Fieldcraft.

I picked one up last year at a local online auction. It's chambered in 325 wsm. The last chambering I wanted but it's the only browning Ti I have ever seen locally. They had it listed as a browning abolt, so I got it for a decent price.

I bought a 30-06 Kimber Subalpine a week ago NIB from a local large north Idaho dealer. Maybe I lucked into it?

I don’t know how many they actually produced but I’m guessing it was not that many. Fortunately I never got bit by the Browning bug. I see very few of them on the used market. Best I have been able to tell from serial numbers, production for first generation ti was about 7-8k; and probably similar numbers for BFC. I’d bet the Browning ti was less.

I wonder if the Browning Ti numbers are more on par with the Alaskan Ti production. The two seem pretty equally scarce.
