Yeah, the Leupold 1.5-5 is parked way far back, a condition demanded of it by my neck.

That's some good looking wood on that Carl Gustaf. I need to use some stock whitening on mine to get some old oil out.

My only remaining Swede is my CZ 550FS. Can't find a good pic of it but here it is on the top:

It shoots pretty good:

Those Classic featherweights are hard to beat. Mine is very old. No scope. Use it for my club's military rifle shoots. I don't really know how well it shoots. Need to let someone that shoots good use it so I can find out:

The 6.5x55 is a sweetheart. Been around for longer than most and still works like a champ..

A Mauser pretty much looks like the other....mine is a 1919 Swede with the 29 inch barrel..

I've taken it deer hunting a time or two..

usual ammo I load for it, is 30 grains of 4198, with a 140 gr SP... MV is like 2400 fps..

that old stock design tho.... with that load it kicks less than a full throttle load out of one of my 223s...

I enjoy the hell out of my old Swede....

Just a couple FPS shy of 2900 with the 140 Accubonds.

Thanks Igloo. It is fun to shoot. I stalled for a year before I bought it. Didn't really know if I wanted to shoot in the military rifle shoots my club has, but I figured what the hell... Its nice because it gives me practice from the weak side. I told that to the club president and he said, "bullshit, you don't have a weak side". ha ha.. I can't take all the credit though, that dang Carl Gustav m96 just about shoots itself. All I have to do is point it!!!

laugh

Apparently doing a good job of pointing it! Seen lots of guys with scoped rifles put them back in the case satisfied with groups considerably worse than those lol.

The figure on the stock on that one is something.

These are three of my 6.5X55's. I just got the Ruger African and plan on hunting with it this fall. Have another 6.5X55 made on a 1935 Mauser action, but I don't have a picture of it yet. They all shoot great as any fan of the 6.5X55 would expect.

I've accumulated a few boxes of Lapua 155 grain. Has anyone tried it or hunted with it? There's a moose on the box so I guess its alright for deer.
