I have two Apex .50 caliber muzzleloaders and have decided to sell one of the them. The one I'm selling has been nitride treated. Here are some pictures: https://postimg.cc/gallery/cWHLHvdOne picture shows the rifle wearing a Bushnell Trophy 3x9 with 250 DOA reticle in CVA Durasight mount. $650 shipped to your dealer (must accept from individual) without scope/mount. Add $80 to include scope/mount. I must add that the breech plug was apparently not given the nitride treatment (it's a BH209 plug) but was also made to match the black finish. I don't know what was used. The bore was also not nitrided. picture shows two tiny dings in finish. I would also consider a .45 caliber Apex muzzleloader in trade.

Muzzleloaders can be shipped directly to your door. FFL is not required as there is no ATF transfer to be done.

You would normally be correct but not in this case. The CVA Apex, like the TC Encore, is a switch-barrel gun and therefore is a firearm that requires a form 4473.

Thanks Kevin! This Apex has a new hammer spur, new firing pin, firing pin spring, and firing pin retaining screw installed. If someone wanted to save a few bucks, I could swap this camo stock set for the all black stock set on my other rifle and take $40 off the price. Both stock sets look perfect to me.

Lowering price for rifle, scope and mounts. $650 shipped to an FFL that will accept from an individual.

Additional breechplug can be had here: https://cva.bpishopping.com/ac1610bh.htmlLooks like there might be a thread from a patch in there. A thread in the threads.
