My 243 that I just bought came with rings just like the old ones. One inch.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I had to give my new to me MKII a make over. Found an original stock for it and went from there. She's a great shooter:

Hawkeyes in lots of calibers and configurations showing up now. Conspicuously absent is anything in 7mm-08.

Holy shyt, that's no joke. Last time I checked there were several dealers selling them at 900.00 - 1000.00 on gunbroker.

We are glad you called to place your order for the 6.5 Creedmoor, one of our more desireable models....

Looks like Midway came down a bit....

For me, the only bright spot, my search for a "Ruger LA UL synthetic stock" is over......Maybe, at least Ruger took my order for that UL synthetic stock.

Me either. SS rifles of any sort are harder to find that before. That one would be a good “user” for certain. Add a $125 Burris and go kill stuff.

I saw a couple of these that I’ve shown up at one particular store here. They are in .308, .30-06, and .300 WM and they are $1110 each. I’ll pass. Glad I got my $650 .338 one 4 years ago.

Removed the Trijicon Hubble from mine and mounted a Burris E1 4.5-14. Dropped 10oz to a totable 8lbs 9.4oz. Some lucky local is going to jump on this when the Valley Trader hits the stands Wednesday, or not, in which case I’ll just shoot the snot out of it. Still have 400+ Fiocchi VMaxes that need emptying. It likes those pretty well.

Y’all are making me excited to pick up my boat paddle 243 hopefully by the end of the week! Local guy traded it in, damn nice shape and had a 3-9x50 vari x ii sitting on top of it.

I bought my 300 WM boat paddle on sale about 23 years ago for $379. Wish I'd bought a truck load of them. Got a few all weather hawkeyes around the time they quit making them, they are good rifles.
