I've got a question regarding using brass that I pulled the bullets out of. To make a long story short I tested some bullets that I loaded in my rifle and they shot great so I then came home and loaded 50 to go back and sight the rifle in with them for hunting season. Well after about 10 shots they were all over the place for some reason so I gave up on them and came home and pulled all the bullets and dumped the powder and went back to my old reliable load. My question is if i will have to resize the brass again before I seat another bullet in them or can I just go ahead and load them without resizing again and have good accuracy or was the neck tension affected on the initial loading to the point I'll have to resize?

I have done it both ways and not resizing resulted in noticeably erratic performance. I recommend you resize. Good luck with it,

Resize the neck for sure.

Resize neck at least.

You will need to resize to have consistent neck tension.

This is kinda what I figured because I could tell a noticable difference when I loaded a couple just to see how they felt.

I do a full resize each time because I have loads that work in different rifles. I do not however trim each time. If its within specs (ex 308 is 2.005 - 2.015) i do not trim. And haven't noticed one change in accuracy with any rifle.
