He’s also is/was/still the highest ranking BIA official in the state of Alaska.

The new director for the Bureau of Indian Affairs Alaska Region is a Bethel-born Orutsararmiut Native Council Tribal member. Gene "Buzzy" Peltola Jr. has been named to the director position and will oversee the BIA offices in Anchorage and Fairbanks. Together, the offices provide services to 227 Alaska Native tribes.

Peltola comes to the position after 34 years of working with another federal agency: the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Most recently, Peltola coordinated and implemented subsistence management on all federal lands in Alaska as the Federal Subsistence Management Program lead.

We are phuqued. Neither Begich nor Palin is gonna bow out.

I'll 1/2 them anyway, but pissing against the wind stinks. Depending on circumstances, I may never vote for either of them again - it appears neither has the best interests of Alaska ahead of their own.

Maybe we will lose Murky - a good friend of Mary P. and they, if re-elected, will go lock-step on guns/hunting access.

Not likely, but I can hope for a few more weeks.

Well if Palin broke ass campaign has any cash left my last ditch add would be. Meemaw Peltola is coming for your hunting and fishing rights! Not rural Alaskan you are not hunting or fishing on federal lands! Begich camp has money I run the same thing..

Well, I have seen a few more Begich commercials on tv and Palin commercials on YouTube, Peltola her [bleep] is everywhere.

Peltola is absolutely dominating in all ad spaces. Facebook, YouTube, Pandora, etc.

Seen a few lame ads from Begich. Nothing from Palin. R’s better step up.

They say family is off limits, yes to a certain point. But when they wield as much influence as her man Gene Peltola has he’s not off limits.. he’s going to influence her when it comes to anything rural communities and tribal rights..

Also need to get more ads out their talking about inflation, high gas prices.. this holiday season going to be a bleak one for alot of families..

Under-age family children are off-limits. Spouses are not, especially those in positions of power, or criminals (Much the same thing, often.)

I just saw a Sarah ad on TBS. It ran for about 3 whole seconds before switching away to a dog food commercial. Enough time to see a couple of photos...nothing verbal. Not very helpful at all.

Was hoping to hear that the R’s were actually making an attempt up there. I can’t get away from the Murky and Peltola ads. And they are well done too. Looks like a big push to get the native vote out too.

If they are both reelected the Alaska Natives will have the government building,rebuilding,dredging,relocating,extending,subsidizing,etc,etc, The Alaska Squad!!!

Murkiness is endorsing Peltola, she has to go and will do anything to get dems to vote for her.

MM, the delegates are elected, not the legislators that are in office.
No is generally propagated by the Democrats, that should speak pretty clearly.

We got another political flyer in the mail the other day with Murkowski and Peltola on it, all that does is confirm what most Conservatives thought about Murkowski. As for the CC vote, all the Dems, RINO's and Unions are pushing the no vote which is all the more reason to vote yes on BM 1.

It must be frustrating for Sarah that the best thing she can do for Alaska is quit. Again.
