Mike, You missed a good Striper trip. You really plan on driving? By Yahoo Map calculations, that's a 1,200 mile (18hour) trip, one way. That's a lot of gas.

I'm bout 99% certain Nan and I are flying out as well. In a bit I'll start searching to find the closest airport, land there and rent a vehicle. Right now, that's our game plan. Course, that's a long way off and plans are subject to change. smile

Total Est. Time: 10 hours, 58 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 697.31 miles

Hmm, for that much driving maybe I should take a couple extra days and enjoy the area. Any good fishing thereabouts?

I'll be there. New York was always a little out of my range as far as time available to travel - but Mercer is a half day drive. Looking forward to it!!!

Unlikely for me, 1170 miles. It would be a long haul marathon .... am getting too lazy for such heroics.

And to think that I went from the left coast to the right coast for the Fest and your nuptials. Not to mention my first airoplane ride in 10 years. I sense a certain lack of commitment in the east these days. grin grin Besides, if you don't show how are we to gain access to view the collection in Irma, WI?
