I've noticed on several inline/scope combos they can be real pain to sight in at 100 yards. Anyone else experience this?

Start @ 25 yards.

If you cannot easily remove the breech plug for bore sighting then put up a large piece of cardboard at 25 yds and get it on paper.

It's on paper, my issue issue is 4 clicks may move POI 6" instead of 1. I've seen it with several brands of scopes and at least 4 muzzleloaders.

I only have 2 scoped MZ[both TC Thunderhawk], no issues with either.

I had a TC Firehawk, it presented the issue you stated.
It was sent down the road.

Had one go bad on one of my Thunderhawks.
It was costly and time consuming to figure out what the crap was going on[when it was the Trashco all along].

Bad scopes have caused many good guns to get sold. I went low tech and its working great.

Yup. Those clicks might not be as advertised. Fastest way is to shoot it at 25, and adjust the scope to the hole you just shot. Hold the rifle steady, and just turn the dial till you get there. It helps to either strap the rifle down, or hold it steady and have somebody else adjust the scope.

Set up a target at 25 yds and put cross hairs on a quarter size dot….shoot it. Then I get the target to my garage to where I can get my gun in a shop vice where it does not move…set that target up at 25 yds with that one hole you just shot and move cross hairs to that hole. Shoot again to confirm…shoot be on target at 25 yards. Now go to 50 and 100 yds see where it hits. Always remember the clicks you have to move the cross hairs with every shot you take, then you can go back where you started if you need .

I changed the load and things improved. It’s hard to tell what’s going when the groups are huge.

Gorgeous rifle. If you get time post up info on it.
