Hi all,
My father and grandfather (both deceased) owned a Marlin 336A in .35 remington and a Remington Model 14 in .35 remington, respectively. I would like to find the age of these rifles. I am borrowing the rifles from my brother as I'd like to have a sentimental hunt this year. I found some ammo, so I'm all set with that. Where can I find a serial number reference for their age. The Marlin is G28xxx and the Remington is 111xxx. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
kstockfo

So I was impatiently waiting for responses, and I decided to google it. Looks like grandpa's model 14 was built in 1929, and dad's 336a was built in 1950. So if anyone is struggling to find the same info, learn from my mistake and try google first.
Thanks,
kstockfo
