I remember, way back in this thread, you shot a deer, from your weak(er) side, out of a tree stand - I think.

Anyway, it gave me the "nerve" to do it, too, a few years ago.

I used to practice a few shots a year from the wrong hand. Truth be told, that's my dominant eye and I should shoot that way anyhow. But I'm too far into the firearms on the right side to switch that now! lol

19 days till MI opener. I'm not ready either.

I don’t have a ton to get ready. A few years back jack and I put our gear in a Rubbermaid bin. It’s pretty much grab and go now.

Same - prep these days is mostly "go get some bourbon, pack of brats and a tag" - all the rest is usually good to go from a clothes/gear perspective.

Just picked up my tag. By the time I was done there were 5 people in line waiting. I'm glad I didn't wait any more.

MI will let you buy on line but I never did. Wait for it to show in the mail. No thanks. Luckily the Cabela's will sell MI tags - rarely have to wait as MI typically starts a week before WI so I'm way early for those guys lol.

You probably can get it online here though I’m not sure. I did for my fishing/small game combo. MN is typically last to adapt to the new dangled things like the internet.

I finished sighting in my 350 AR, this morning, bowhunted this evening nothing again. It's hard to believe that fall is this far along!

Especially when it’s still supposed to be in the 50’s for temps this weekend.

I couldn't get to camp this weekend but the boy popped another.

He's been just making them with salt/pepper/ butter in a cast iron pan and green beans.

That's what’s nice about em. They’re good any damn way you cook them.

Should be a dandy in a year or two...
