I am thinking of adding a suppressor to a couple of my 308 rifles.
Couple 4 questions.
If I want to buy one suppressor and swap onto different rifles is there any real advantage to any of the various quick connects or is just screwing and unscrewing to swap an issue?
Does the extra length make any real difference in hunting from a stand?
Thanx

I have a Silencerco Omega with the QD mount and the Harvester with the direct mount.
The QD mount has 2 benefits in my opinion.
The QD adapter is mounted on your barrel with a thread locker ( Locktite or Rockset) and the QD adapter has a locking mechanism.
So the suppressor is not going to vibrate loose and end up causing a baffle strike.
Also, your not going to cross tread the QD mount screwing it on.
The fixed mount makes for a shorter overall mounting arrangement.
But you have to make sure the can stays tight and be careful when screwing it on.
These features may or may not be important to you.
I have NEVER heard someone who has shot a suppressed rifle say "I don't like that"
I have a 308 set up with 18" barrel and and a 6.5 CM with a 20" barrel.
The overall length with the can has not been a problem for me.
